Pretty and unique property, even if not "luxurious" PROS: Gorgeous property that lets you get close to nature. Spacious deck where you hear leaves rustling (and music from the pool, if that's your thing). The titular treehouses are truly stunning, especially at night when they are lit up. Kids and adults will love the pool, slide, and jumping off the waterfall. Friendly staff. To be improved: Rooms can get hot--they are poorly insulated with only one air conditioner to try to keep the place cool. Sun pours into the glass doors. Not much to do besides relax at the pool, but you can drive the 20 minutes into San Juan del Sur. Getting to rooms can involve stairs or concrete stepping blocks (bad for roller bags); it took a while for anyone to offer to help us with our bags. We had loud neighbors who occupied the room immediately under ours and brought their own radio, which they played deep into the night while causing a ruckus on their deck. Disappointing when the idea was a quiet treehouse in nature. Also, there were several other empty buildings available; not sure sure why they were placed right underneath us. Pool music got loud, even though we were set pretty far back. Other observations: Rooms are more rustic than luxurious, which is fine if that's what you're looking for. This is a popular resort for day visits. If you're looking for solitude by the pool, you might not get it, especially on a weekend. All the poolside tables and chaise lounges were occupied by day guests during our stay, although they eventually left.

Luxury in the jungle ! I spent one month in Tree Casa. I just loved the architecture and the vides of the full place! I also enjoyed the decoration of the room, the food, all the staff, the pools, the sunset spot. I definitely recommend 😉

Tree Casa is Mindblowing Wow! What can I say. I stayed at Tree Casa for 30 days during my yoga teacher training. The resort is stunning but honestly it's the staff that make this place what it is. They continued to go above and beyond for us during our training, food was exceptional, rooms were always cleaned top to bottom, our NYI contacts were always on hand, tours and excursions offered were absolutely amazing. I cannot wait to return next year.

Beautiful secluded space to connect with nature. I stayed at Tree Casa for a total of 3 nights; I must confess, I didn't go on the best season given that there was a lot of wind. However, I enjoyed the delicious food at the restaurant with excellent service from the waiters. The pool was so much fun and they had good music on the speakers. I could walk all the way to the top to appreciate the sea view with the sunset. The bedroom was almost too much. Kind of luxurious for what I was expecting. I can't complain though, I slept like a baby. They have access to a semi-private and virgin beach so that was wonderful. I would highly recommend staying at Tree Casa for at least two nights. It's an experience.

The best place in San Juan del Sur There are so many wonderful things about tree casa I don’t even know where to begin. The pools are so clean, the water slide and waterfall are a blast. The food is AMAZING. you can ask for a tour of their organic garden where they grow for their restaurant. You can spend the day here working because of the consistent and fast internet. The staff are a treat, always respectful and kind. The free shuttle from town and back makes it easy to get there. I highly recommend spending at least the day here.

The Treecasa bubble Interesting resort in the highland forest north of SJDS. An amazing collection of boardwalks and stairways high up into the trees with great views down to the poolside (sadly not beyond given the bowl like situation). A large restaurant caters for the various casitas dotted around the property. Extensive food and drink menu caters I guess mainly for the American market. The ribs were great. Service very attentive and pleasant.
